I *heart* Cosmo Cricket!

Yep....that's right...I can't not throw my hat in the ring for the DT call Cosmo Cricket has going on. I have loved Cosmo from the moment they debuted....from the Wanted line.....to Gretel.....Cogsmo......Hello Sunshine (which btw, if you haven't gotten any of this yet, you need to get your hands on some...it is heavenly).....and everything in between. Who wouldn't want to design with their awesome products?
As I started looking through all of my previous work, I realized I had alot using CC products...and I was lucky that Cosmo Cricket was our spotlight manufacturer at ScrapLovers this month.....so now I have even more CC layouts completed. So without further ado, here are some projects I would like to highlight....the first 4 of them are the layouts I completed for ScrapLovers.

Once Upon A Time (using the Fleuriste line)

This one has some shine to it IRL....I used Glimmer Mist and Stickles on the crown....I also used a lace doily as a template and sprayed Glimmer Mist over it.....you can very subtly see the pattern in the top left of the layout. Other techniques I've used are machine stitching and I punched holes around the word Family to enhance the look of the preprinted stitches.

Earth to Jose (featuring the Cogsmo line)

This one was just plain fun to do.....the little blackboard robot reminded me of a space creature which inspired my title.....and I used the gears to tie in with the "thinking chair" theme (picture the wheels in the brain turning). This also features a small section of one of the new Maya Road sheer sheets.

Warning: Fun Overload (featuring Get Happy and Cogsmo)

This one features hand stitching and I colored the blackboard robot using Cray-Pas.

Shiny Happy People (featuring the Hello Sunshine line)

I was immediately inspired for this layout as soon as I saw the clouds on one of the journaling cards that comes with this line. I doodled the sun's "rays" using a Doodle Genie by Chatterbox.

The remaining projects are all work I've done within the last year or so...and believe it or not I had more, but decided enough was enough.

Joy to the World card (with handmade felt birds)

Believe in Santa

06 in Rewind (using my favorite Cosmo line of all time.....although Hello Sunshine is a close second)

That Motherhood Glow (using a Becky Fleck sketch)

This layout was published in the Scrapbook Trends Fast and Fabulous idea book.

Visions of Sugarplums

Home Sweet Home altered picketfence (fence purchased from Hobby Lobby)

As always thanks for stopping by to look...and happy scrapping!!!
